My grandmother, Ruth Swiggett will be 105 years old on March 1, 2008. She was born in 1903. She is a pioneer in the community and has received several awards over the years. On this page, she was honored by having a street named after her. She was married to my grandfather, Ed Swiggett, who made his transition in the late 1980's. When my grandparents lived in El Sereno, they were very known in the community and were also known as Mr and Mrs El Sereno.
